A cream tom with dark cream swirls padded through the lack of undergrowth on Rabbit Hill. His pale green eyes scanned the undergrowth. The new-leaf wind felt nice on his pelt. He let out a small purr of comfort. He flickered to his tail. He sat down on the top of Rabbit Hill. He wrapped his short tail around his thick paws. His eyes scanned through the undergrowth.
His eyes were searching for one cat, Dapplepaw, his apprentice. he let out a purr. he she-cat seemed quite down a lot and he hoped he could help her, perhaps. He hoped if he kept her busy with her training she won't let her mind wonder to her past. He worries for the she-cat and cared for her, not in the relationship way, but like a big brother way.
His ear prickled to the left as he heard a rustle. He stood upon his paws. He crept forward slowly and saw a vole. He crouched down low to the ground. He moved forward slowly, step by step and pounced. He threw the vole into the air and slamed it back down with a clawed paw. it died on impact.
'Thank you, Starclan for this life," Creekpelt mewed. He proceed to bury the vole to bring back to the clan after Dapplepaw and his training session.

New-leaf,a time of the season where happiness should be brought, where prey is heavy and weather is delightful compared to the weather in the previous moons. But Dapplepaw, wasn't very cheerful, she missed her parents dearly, and it seemed like every day was so long, and every minute she breathed was just another minute passed that hurt. Padding along, she approached the hills of the Rabbithill area of her clan's territory. She's been here once before when she was younger, exploring around and trying to get out of the clan; which she meet a black cat and once that wasn't very friendly. If only she could remember his name, but she couldn't. Walking along the hills, Dapplepaw spotted her apprentice's cream colored fur in the path ahead of her. Purring to herself, she walked along to greet him.
Hello, Creekpelt, She purred, touching his nose as she walked up to him. The silvery cat purred as she sat down on the hill that she stood on. What are we doing today? She asked, sparkling blue eyes glistened in the spring light.

"Hello Dapplepaw, how are we this fine morning?" Creekpelt purred as he touched noses with his apprentice, Dapplepaw. He gave her a friendly smile as she sat down.
"I thought I could teach you a new technique and you could go try it out on your own. I know it's kinda hard the first few times have someone watch you," Creekpelt mewed. "That way the clan is, also, feed. Now that new-leaf here we can catch plenty of prey for us to catch and the clan can finally eat well tonight!" He purred.
Creekpelt then began to show her the crouch to catch a rabbit. "Remember they will hear you before they feel you. So watch the placement of your paws. Once you got it down go off and catch us some voles and rabbits." He had taught her the vole technique a few days ago.
Creekpelt sat back and watched the she-cat. She definitely different from any other cat. Maybe, just maybe, it wasn't a brother love for her after all. maybe, he actually felt something for the small she-cat. He shook his head, he should not be thinking like that about an apprentice, let alone his own apprentice.

Dapplepaw gave Creekpelt a slight smile, as he asked how she was this morning. She was missing her parents dearly, but that was okay, she hoped that the hunting today would get her mind off thins and onto better things. I'm okay, and yourself? She asked, her voice sweet, soft and innocent just like the blue eyes that shined in the sunlight. Blinking, the female watched the ginger and cream colored tabby show her the technique for hunting. Okay, so rabbits will hear me before they can feel me... She whispered to herself, probably loud enough for Creekpelt to hear, but she didn't mind if he did. Forming into a crouch, Dapplepaw moved swiftly towards the east, as she moved, her body ached from the position being foreign to her body, but Dapplepaw kept on. As she moved, her muscles screamed out for her to stop, but
yet she kept on going. Getting up from the crouch, she turned towards Creekpelt. It hurts when I do that... She said softly, as she stood there with a dumb founded look across her face. Biting her lip, her blue eyes showed anxiety, fear and a sense of if she was doing this right. Blinking, Dapplepaw looked up the sky. It was a nice afternoon day, and a cool breeze swept through the clan territory, cooling off the silvery cat from the hot sun beating down on them as they stood on the hilly terrain. Moving back into a hunters crouch, this time it wasn't that bad, and with a flick of her tail it seemed that her muscles were lose now. Her whiskers twitched asDapplepaw sprung out into a leap, pretending like there was a rabbit in front of her. Slashing her wrist out,
her claws hooked onto air as her paw pulled back, as if she got a piece of prey. After the move, Dapplepaw leaped up with shock in her eyes. Did you see that, Creekpelt?! I can't wait to actually hunt! She purred, moving to his side and rubbing her check against his. Trying the crouch once more, she felt free and that it was natural, like she was born to hunt rabbit and it was in her blood to have her body be in this kind of placement. Smiling, she looked up to her mentor. I'm ready! She said, with a flick of her tail, Dapplepaw bounce off towards the endless hills that the territory gave Ashclan. A smile rose across her face as she went down and up a near by hill. Slowly, the she-cat stopped in her track as the smell of rabbit appeared in her scent glands. Slowly, she stalked the rabbit, watching it, as she crouched into a hunter's position.
